Hey!
Today I was Pinteresting and I stumbled upon several non-white wedding dresses. Here are my thoughts on this interesting subject: the wedding dress industry simply does not accommodate brides who are interested in colored dresses. Brides who desire to purchase an unique wedding dress believe they are left with only one option, and that is ordering online. Online dress shopping can be a very scary experience!!! Not only are brides spending several thousands of dollars on a custom non-traditional wedding dress, which they can't even try on, but they also can't see its beading, can't feel its fabric, or see its true color. Just thinking about this scenario is making me anxious and I'm not even a bride! So why not purchase a wedding dress from a company outside the wedding industry? I think us woman are so caught up on having that "wedding dress shopping experience" we see on Say Yes To The Dress, that we forget an important concept: the dress doesn't make the bride, the bride makes the dress! Modern day brides have the freedom to express their individuality and
personal style without the worry of wedding customs, so why not explore your options. You’re
going to look like a bride regardless of what you wear, because you ARE a bride! So girl, rock that fabulous colorful dress!

Last dance of the night
Hey there!
Today I wanted to talk about the last dance of the night. We recommend choosing a slow and a fast song for this dance. By picking both songs our Edge Sight and Sound DJs can play whichever song matches the mood of the evening. Also, another detail to think about is when to actually have your last dance. Keep in mind that you don't want to have the dance too early, because you want plenty of time to celebrate but, you also don't want to wait until 10 people are left at your wedding. End your celebration with high energy and leave your friends and family wanting more!

Entertainment Director
Hey there!
One of the features that separates Edge Sight and Sound from other Tulsa DJs is that we offer an Entertainment Director with all of our packages. An Entertainment Director is (usually a female) member of our team, who ensures a smooth wedding day by working directly with the DJ/MC and other vendors. With the Bride's help, the Entertainment Director creates a wedding Entertainment Schedule, which serves as a detailed guide of all wedding events. The Entertainment Director will distribute the Entertainment Schedule to key people (i.e. photographer, DJ, caterer) and ensure all parties are on the same page. Having an Entertainment Director at your wedding is helpful, because it frees the mother of the bride and the maid of honor from running around all evening. What usually happens at weddings is either the mother of the bride or the maid of honor are left in charge of running the wedding. This is a very overwhelming job, especially for two of the most important guests of the bride. By having an Entertainment Director at your wedding, to specifically focus on you, leaves your loved ones free to enjoy your wedding. In other words, a Edge Sight and Sound Entertainment Director is a bride's best friend :)

Dancing On A Cloud
Hello!
While browsing through the Edge Sight and Sound website you might ask yourself "what is Dancing On A Cloud?" Dancing On A Cloud is a special effect created by a machine that combines dry ice and hot water, which produces a thick white fog, resembling a cloud! The cloud does not produce a smell, and since it stays knee high from the ground, it does not set off fire alarms or sprinkler systems. Some worry about safety when utilizing this feature, but because dry ice does not melt and directly transforms from a solid to a gas, it leaves no liquid mess to clean (or to make the dance floor slippery/dangerous). Many of our couples choose to utilize Dancing On A Cloud during the first dance as Mr. and Mrs., making the special dance even more memorable. Trust me, Dancing On A Cloud will have your guests jaw dropped and fumbling for their cameras!

Dollar Dance
Hey everyone!
Today I wanted to talk about music for the Dollar Dance (also know as the Money Dance and Apron Dance). The Dollar Dance is an event during the wedding reception where guests pay to boogie with the Groom and Bride. Edge Sight and Sound DJs recommend the newlyweds to have both a fast and a slow song to accommodate guests dancing style (some older folks don't feel comfortable dancing to fast paced music). Here are a variety of song ideas:
