Dollar Dance

Hey everyone!

Today I wanted to talk about music for the Dollar Dance (also know as the Money Dance and Apron Dance). The Dollar Dance is an event during the wedding reception where guests pay to boogie with the Groom and Bride. Edge Sight and Sound DJs recommend the newlyweds to have both a fast and a slow song to accommodate guests dancing style (some older folks don't feel comfortable dancing to fast paced music). Here are a variety of song ideas:

The Way You Look Tonight-Frank Sinatra
          Wonderful Tonight-Eric Clapton
          Isn't She Lovely-Stevie Wonder
          Brown Eyed Girl-Van Morrison
          If I Had $1,000,000-Barenaked Ladies
          Money-Pink Floyd
Take The Money And Run-Steve Miller Band
          God Gave Me You-Blake Shelton
          Thinking Out Loud-Ed Sheeran
With A Little Help From My Friends-Beatles
       Everything-Michael Buble
       L-O-V-E-Nat King Cole
       Amazed-Lonestar
       Billionaire-Travie Mccoy Feat. Bruno Mars
       I Don't Dance-Lee Brice
       Marry You-Bruno Mars
Why Don't We Just Dance-Josh Turner
I Wanna Dance With Somebody-Whitney Houston
       For The Love Of Money-O'jays
       All You Need Is Love-Beatles

Remember, a wedding is a celebration, not a performance, so pick songs you and your guests will have fun dancing to!
