Wedding Reception for Mr. and Mrs. Mills

The night started out with fireworks, literally, as Mr. & Mrs. Mills descended from a chartered bus and were greeted by their closest friends and family with the all-too-popular sparklers.  The night was an elegant success from the grand introductions to the last dance of the evening.  The venue was the Lamp Lighter Inn in Pittsburgh, Kansas and the Inn has never seen such a great celebration of marriage. The wedding party and guests danced the night away to everything from Brad Paisley to Bobby Brown. That night will be a night to remember for everyone involved.

Company Holiday Party for AG 1 Source

AG I Source Company party in Witchita, KS was yet another fantastic event we took part in this past weekend. It was a small, intimate party with close friends and family, great food and drinks started the night off right.  It quickly, with our help, led to dancing the night away with old favorites like the Y.M.C.A and electric slide as well as new crowd pleasers like the Cupid Shuffle. We want to thank Mark Esfeld for choosing Edge Sight And Sound as their holiday party entertainment for the second year in a row. What a great time we all had and we look forward to next years company party!

Smith/Ash Wedding at the Tulsa Mayo Hotel

Our newly-wed bride took a well deserved break in her evening for a shot with her bridesmaid as her guests carried on in party fashion, against the back drop of an elegantly lit Mayo Hotel, courtesy of Edge Sight and Sound. Thanks to John, his new wife, Erin, and Mary Smith (Mother of the Bride) for choosing Edge Sight and Sound.

Walker/Givan Wedding at the Dresser Mansion

As seen through a window of the Dresser Mansion, John and Caitlyn Givan couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day as they exchanged vows in the mansion courtyard with her parents overlooking the ceremony. We at Edge sight and Sound wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness.

Ledbetter Wedding at the Vesica Pisces Chapel

Last November I got married at Vesica Piscis Chapel in Catoosa, OK... my absolute favorite wedding venue! This past weekend I got to go back to visit Judi and the rest of the crew there for the Ledbetter/Clouser wedding. The wedding was really one-of-a-kind! For instance, this was the first time I have ever seen a wedding cake get cut with an actual sword! Literally, a full-blown, sharp edged sword! The couple had quite the selection of music picked out as well. I watched multiple generations break it down to everything from the Commodores to Usher, oh and not to mention Gettin' Jiggy Wit It by Will Smith. Thanks Lisa and Clay for helping me recreate some wonderful memories at Vesica!

Oklahoma High School Class Reunion DJ

Out on a secluded country club in Duncan, Oklahoma, the Duncan High school class of 1990 proceeded to catch up with old friends and even some old flames. The Meet and Greet eventually turned into a happening party as they relived the music of there teens and even jammed out to some current beats. There was some line dancing and even a few individuals jumped in to the pool. Overall the night was a great success.

Johnson/Christian Wedding at the German American Center

Justin and Sarah Christian, and son Micah (who Co-DJ'd the evening), "kicked it up a notch" at one incredible reception, after a beautiful wedding ceremony, led by none other than the Professionals of Edge Sight and Sound Disc Jockeys. The event uplighting we provided in the German American Center of Tulsa is an incredible addition to any venue and should be considered when planning that special day.

Hayes/McGee Wedding Reception with Edge Wedding DJ's

Twas a warm summers eve atop the pristine mountain at Skelly Lodge. That's where Daniel and Emily Hayes exchanged vows and commenced to partying immediately after, at the perfectly planned reception (of which, was mastered by mom, Kim McGee). Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Hayes, and to all their friends and family from the wedding professionals of Edge Sight and Sound Disc Jockeys.

Talk about your "wild and crazy" group of adults ! This year, at the Annual Rural Rental Housing Association of Oklahoma Convention and Trade Show, in Norman, OK, they partyed SO hard that we are unable to show you with photos, just exactly what  happened. First, these ladies dressed in pink......no, I can't tell you about that. Hmmmm, oh yeah, Mr Harvey took his........, ummmm, not that one either. Well, Scott started to........ nope. I can't  tell you ! Just trust me when I say, "What a blast !!!" They're all to be commended for such a great event this year. Rygiel Wedding on May 29, 2010 at the Tulsa Historical Society

"So there we sat, at Fenway Park, to watch Ryan and Maegan Rygiel as they tied the not and then everyone started dancing the night away."  Yeah, that was us behind home plate (actually the groom's cake) calling it as we saw it all night.

Really, it could have happened!!  However, it was actually at the Tulsa Historical Society on Peoria...an equally great place for a wedding!  It was a great day with great fun had by all!  From elegant uplighting to the best music and DJ entertainment in Tulsa, there was not a sole that didn't hit the dance floor at least once.

We here at Edge Sight and Sound would like to thank all the family and friends that made it such a blast, and we wish them both a wonderful life together.

Jacobs/Robinson Wedding in Tulsa OK at The Barn

We simply cannot say it better than our clients...hear what Mrs. Lesley Robinson had to say about her Tulsa Wedding Reception at The Barn:

Edge Sight & Sound was awesome to work with! I live out of state and was still able to meet with my DJ twice to go over playlists, timelines, and general feel for both the ceremony and reception of my wedding. Both Kenneth Knoll and John Willever were fantastic! They worked with me to cut/mix music, as well as orchestrate ceremony timing and reception timing. The website was easy to work with and their quick responses to my e-mails and questions were greatly appreciated. They even designed a monogram cut-out for our day that matched our guest favors. Their flexibility to "go with the flow" in an unexpected 6 inches of snow kept me relaxed and able to enjoy the evening without worrying about awkward music transitions. Everyone had such a great time as John kept one great song after another coming. We were surprised that not many people left early due to an unexpected almost blizzard on the first day of spring - and I owe that to John for keeping the party going. Everyone stayed warm by dancing the night away. I definitely recommend Edge Sight and Sound!! One happy bride!

Ringstaff Wedding Disc Jockey in Joplin, MO

High above Main Street, in Joplin,  MO., in the newly refurbished Ramsey building, Joe and Carly Ringstaff exchanged wedding vows. Immediately following, they commenced to fun dancing and got their "boogie on" with their wonderful family and friends, lead by non other than the great Disc Jockey team at Edge Sight and Sound. Way to go, Carly and Joe!!!!!

University of Tulsa Red Carpet Prom

This past weekend we had the chance to take part in the TU Red Carpet Prom.  All of the students took classes on swing dancing and we had the pleasure of watching them perform what they learned...boy did they learn a lot! We want to think Jordan for choosing Edge to DJ her prom and we hope all the students had a great time...we surely did!

Johnson Wichita Wedding on March 20th, 2010

Located in the cozy Anne Beach gallery at the Salvation Army camp near Wichita, the Johnson family gathered alongside the Ector's to celebrate the marriage of Pharaoh and Vanna Johnson.  Complete with a fire place to add to the feel, the intimant family came ready to enjoy a night of each others company and dancing, despite the near blizzard-like conditions.  LED uplighting definitely added to the atmosphere as we were able to match their colors, and DMX lighting kept the dance floor elegant and upbeat.  As always, it was great working with corporate caterers and I hope everyone enjoyed their night!  Congrats, Pharaoh and Vanna!

Disc Jockeys for the South Barber Prom on April 10th, 2010

The first stop of the Edge Sight and Sound Prom campaign was South Barber High School in Kiowa KS.  The dance followed a catered dinner on the "terrace" where the decorations were extensive as always and everyone was taken away "under the sea."  This smaller group fit our blue package perfectly and they were able to hear their favorite songs all night, from Red Dirt to today's top 40.

Carlson Wedding Reception in Cushing Oklahoma

What an incredible day at the Timberline Elk Ranch. And yes, it is an ELK ranch. An otherwise empty hall transformed into a gorgeous reception venue. Doug, father of the bride, was smooth as can be for the Father/Daughter Dance. So too, were the the guests when it came time to gettin' down. Those of you in the surrounding Tulsa and Cushing areas should strongly consider this location for an awesome reception, and then call us at Edge Sight and Sound to make the evening an unbelievable memory.

University of Tulsa Springfest 2010 - We were there!

We took part in this years Annual TU Springfest. Normally every year they hold it out on the "Old U" outside, but rain tried to spoil the event. Instead we moved it inside and had a colorful time. We had great food courtesy of Brandon (lead chef at TU) and the students came out and supported and raised money for charity by purchasing shoes and Decorating  them.  We want to thank grant for organizing the event and choosing Edge to provide the music and of course a HUGE thank you to all students who came out!

Wichita East High Prom on April 17th, 2010

The second week of our prom Kansas prom campaign, East High School came to party.  The decorations coincidentally matched South Barber's underwater scene, but with a spin.  The theme was "back to the future" and the Prom King and Queen shared their dance to "Earth Angel" followed by "Johnny B. Goode".  With over 750 students in attendance, our Elite Package was the best fit.  Our large projection screen on the dance floor enabled the students to dance to party to the most popular music videos such as Beyonce's "Single Ladies" at our video dance party.  A powerful bubble machine topped off the packed dance floor.  For students who needed a break, we provided a  Guitar Hero party in the hall adjacent to the main dance floor.  A special thanks goes to Laurel Scott for being great to work with and making this event an awesome success!  I hope everyone had a blast...we know we did and we're looking forward to it next year!
