Tulsa Young Professionals and the University of Tulsa Students "Mix"

You have undoubtedly heard about the Tulsa Young Professionals organization at one time or another. This group of up-and-coming Tulsa residents permeates virtually everything that makes Tulsa a great place to live. Fueling new members to this organization is the University of Tulsa. Now, for the first time ever, the two groups have united for a TU and TYPros mixer to enhance the relations hip that already exists between these two young professional powerhouses.

Edge Sight & Sound is a proud member organization to the Tulsa Young Professionals and even has TU Alumni within the company. Below are several more photos from what was an excellent event.

TU Annual Street Painting Competition - Homecoming 2009

For the last six years, we have provided DJ services for the annual street painting competition as part of the University of Tulsa Homecoming week. Each year student teams compete in a variety of events for points. The entire week culminates to a grand prize announcement at the Bonfire and pep rally held on the U.

Until next year, we'll be looking forward to it!

University of Tulsa Homecoming 2009!!

As a TU alum, owner Kenneth Knoll is a proud supporter of the University of Tulsa. Edge Sight & Sound was honored to serve as a sponsor of this year's annual homecoming week. Service donations included audio and video support for the Bonfire celebration held on the historic Tulsa "U" just west of the McFarlin Library.

We now offer more than the best DJ services around for weddings, corporate events and private parties; the next time you are planning a large event requiring professional audio, video and event lighting design, trust us to cover every aspect of the event!

Bartlesville Wedding Reception for Jake and Blayne Shaffer

From the ceremony sound, to projector rental and video slide show, to the reception, everything was seamless at the Woolaroc Wildlife Reserve. Also, what an awesome group of guests! They were dancing all night long.

It was a night of familiar faces - Jake and Blayne, our very own Lane Willhite as best man, and Pastor Wade Graber - you were all great to work with!

I hope you all had an amazing night and thank you all!

Birthday Party Celebration for Dani Andersen

I am truly impressed with how your venue and the way the party turned out. The decorations, food, and guests were great! I love having the opportunity to be a part of sweet sixteen birthday parties.

Dani - I hope you and all your friends had a great time on your birthday.

Thank you!

Kris and Candis Rustman Wedding Reception

Working with corporate caterers at Wyldewood Cellars in Mulvane, Kris and Candis shared an intimate wedding with close friends and family. Kris and Candis, you two were easy to work with and I hope you both had a great time!

Thank you again and congratulations!

The Herridge Marriage held in Halstead, KS

Another event in the awesome little town of Halstead, KS. Nathan and Sara were married on November 7th, 2010 at the Sacred Heart Chapel. Polka was definitely a hit for the evening and the Grand March kicked the evening off, followed by a great first dance by Nathan and Sara. It is always a pleasure working with Treasured Moments Photography, you guys are awesome!

Nathan and Sara - I hope you two had a blast and are having an amazing honeymoon in Costa Rica!

Annual Halloween Bash for Hennessy's

This was our second year providing disc jockey services for the annual Hennessy Haunted House/Halloween Bash and from the looks of things it only gets better every year. The kids danced all night and definitely loved the haunted house. I think the costume of the evening award goes to the Octamom costume! Great food, great fun, great people...we love it.

We're looking forward to next year!

Wedding Reception for Sean and Maggie Hatfield

Sean and Maggie's wedding was in the classy banquet hall of the Olive Tree here in Wichita Kansas. The staff there are always great, and Sean and Maggie were even better. 350 guests + live arabic band = awesome time. I had the privilege of continuing the party where the band left off and the dance floor was packed all night! From traditional Arabic music to today's top hits, we played it all.

Maggie and Sean - you two were a blast and I'm thankful for the opportunity to serve you!

Tyson and Lauren's Kansas Wedding Reception Near Wichita

I am way behind on my blogs! A month or so ago, Tucked away in Halstead, KS, Tyson and Lauren were married at the quaint Riverside Park. This wedding was definitely a fun, laid back, nice change of pace. You can only love barbecue picnic weddings where everyone can enjoy great music, great family and friends, and great times. It was truly a pleasure to provide ceremony and reception services for your wedding.

- Tyson and Lauren, thank you both!

A Sweet 16 Birthday and Halloween Bash All-In-One!

On Halloween I got to skip out on buying a costume and just be the usual... a DJ. It was a sweet 16 birthday party and a Halloween bash all in one. I'd say at least 75 15-17 year olds made their way through the heavily decorated house to help Bridget celebrate. All of them were dressed appropriately... kind of. There were 6 ft tall guys wearing nothing but diapers and white boys who underwent some serious skin treatments to look like Lil Wayne. Of course Edge provided the best professional entertainment out there, but I have to say the costumes added to the excitement! The house was packed the entire evening with people dancing, playing Twister and jumping on the giant blow up toys. Thanks so much Keith for throwing your daughter the best sweet 16 ever!

Halloween Party for Carla - Another great year!

Carla always has us help make sure her party is a success!

Over the top is the best way to describe the Wichita Halloween party I Djed for Carla Mosteller this past Halloween Saturday. Reknowned for outrageous decorations and it's annual costume contest, the party was yet another success. Held at the Gene Francis Auction house, there was plenty of room for the attendees. Every year seems to go better than the last and i look forward to it every year. Carla, thanks again for having me back for my fourth year, i hope to see you guys again next Halloween!
