Dancing On A Cloud is a special effect created by a machine that combines dry ice and hot water, which produces a thick white fog, resembling a cloud! The cloud does not produce a smell, and since it stays knee high from the ground, it does not set off fire alarms or sprinkler systems. Some worry about safety when utilizing this feature, but because dry ice does not melt and directly transforms from a solid to a gas, it leaves no liquid mess to clean (or to make the dance floor slippery/dangerous).
