The last dance

Have you thought about your last dance of the night? Here are some song choices often used by our brides:

Save the Last Dance for Me by Michael Buble
Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond
Time of My Life by Black Eyed Peas
Glad You Came by The Wanted

We always recommend choosing a slow and a fast song. By picking both songs our Edge Sight and Sound DJs can play whichever song matches the mood of the evening. Also, another detail to think about is when to actually have your last dance. Keep in mind that you dont want to have the dance too early because you want plenty of time to celebrate but, you also dont want to wait untill 10 people are left at your wedding. End your celebration early enough that friends and family leave wanting more!

Dancing on a Cloud!

While browsing through our website you might ask yourself  "what in the world is Dancing on a Cloud?" I thought the same as well lol! Crazy ideas went through my head when Randy mentioned it to me. Are a bunch of puff balls going to be floating around someones head? Is it going to be messy? What is it? Dancing on a Cloud is a machine that creates a white, cloud like fog, that stays knee high from the ground. The cloud is made out of  dry ice so its not messy and it does not smell. Oh, and don't worry, the cloud will not set off fire alarms during your event. The first dance as Mr. and Mrs. is already so special, why not make it uniquely memorable as well? Edge Sight and Sound is the only Tulsa, Oklahoma Wedding DJ that actually offers this feature. Dancing on the Cloud will have your guests running to their cameras! It creates the most beautiful, dream like, pictures. What bride doesn't want to be a princess on her big day? -- Ana

Prom songs vs wedding songs

It's prom season everybody! We've been dancing the night away and just having a blast with all the Tulsa area prom kids. Do you remember your prom? What kind of music were you dancing to? At my prom I was dancing line dances like the "Cha Cha Slide" and shaking it to "Single Ladies" by Beyonce. I still love those songs, but are they appropriate for a wedding? Sure! Here at Edge Sight and Sound one of our number one goals is to get ALL your guests involved in your wedding. One great way to get your guests up and dancing are line dances such as the "Cha Cha Slide". Line dances are upbeat, easy and are not gender specific, therefore, you can get a range of people on the dance floor. Also, a great way to incorporate your favorite songs is by using them in specific times during your wedding. Example, if you are a fan of Beyonce's "Single Ladies" like me, why not add that song during the bouquet toss. The song gets all the single gals up and it adds excitement to that special moment of your wedding. Weddings don't have to be stuffy and serious. Your goal is to have your guests leave your wedding thinking, wow that wedding reflected their personalities. Don't be afraid to make it personal!
